THE EXPERT’S VIEW

The technical facts stay visible.

Bandwidth and addressing

Profiles disclose upload and download speeds, broadband versus committed bandwidth, and static-IP treatment.

Router and monitoring

The proposed design states the managed-router class, monitoring approach and escalation ownership.

Response and restoration

Response means investigation and technical action begin within the stated period. It is not automatically a restoration guarantee.

Continuity and path diversity

Failover behaviour and known path, power and upstream dependencies are documented. Full redundancy is never claimed without independent verification.

SERVICE RESPONSE

A clear technical-response commitment.

ESSENTIALSWithin 12 working hours
PROWithin 8 working hours
DEDICATEDWithin 4 hours

A technical response means investigation and technical action begin within the stated period. It is not automatically a repair, resolution or restoration guarantee. Dedicated restoration commitments are defined in the customer-specific SLA.

BUSINESS VOICE VALUE

One partner for internet, business numbers, call handling and technical support.

  • Essentials: one business number and two concurrent calls
  • Pro: one business number and four concurrent calls
  • Dedicated: VoiceHosted or VoiceCore designed around the operation

Calls are usage-billed separately. Handsets are not automatically included. Additional extensions and advanced call-flow features are available.

MANAGED WIRELESS CONTINUITY

If the fibre fails, essential operations can stay connected automatically.

  • Automatic failover and return to fibre
  • Helps maintain payments, Business Voice, email and selected cloud applications
  • Available with qualifying Pro services
  • Preferentially available with Dedicated Connectivity
  • Subject to wireless feasibility and capacity

Backup performance may be lower than the primary service. Full redundancy is only claimed where independent paths and dependencies have been verified.

COMMON DECISIONS

Business connectivity questions, answered clearly.

What is the difference between Essentials, Pro and Dedicated?

Essentials supports everyday business operations. Pro adds premium management, static IP, proactive monitoring, faster response and continuity options. Dedicated is designed for critical operations with committed connectivity, formal service management and a customer-specific SLA.

When should we consider Fibre-to-Air?

Fibre-to-Air is a professionally installed business wireless service for premises where fibre is unavailable, delayed or commercially impractical. Coverage, line-of-sight and tower capacity must be confirmed.

What does the response time mean?

It is the period within which investigation and technical action begin. It is not automatically a repair or restoration guarantee.

Is a router supplied?

The router class and commercial treatment are stated in the proposal. Standard and non-standard installation requirements are confirmed after assessment.

Are Voice calls and handsets included?

Voice calling capacity may form part of the service value, but calls are usage-billed separately and handsets are not automatically included.

How does wireless continuity work?

A managed standby wireless service can fail over selected essential traffic when the primary fibre service is interrupted, then return traffic to fibre when it recovers.

What can affect installation?

Coverage, civils, trenching, wayleaves, excess fibre, towers, specialised mounting and non-standard works can affect timing and commercial treatment.

How do we begin?

Request a Business Connectivity Assessment. NowTech will confirm the operating requirement, premises, coverage and feasible service options before recommending a solution.
